To our Valued Customers,
Safety is our #1 priority at Bear Valley Rafting. As a result, we are an established leader in safety standards for the Payette whitewater rafting industry. It is our goal to promote outdoor exploration and adventures in the safest way possible. Our 2020 season was a huge success on the following guidelines we put into action. None of our employees contracted Covid-19 and we believe strongly it was because we took things very seriously! Bear Valley will continue with the same protocols as we embark on the 2021 season.
We want to update our guests on what we are doing to ensure safety throughout the development of COVID-19.
We will enhance the cleaning and disinfecting of our facilities, vehicles, equipment and food services using the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommended standards. We will be supportive and accommodating of guests and employees affected by COVID-19.
We have been monitoring the situation closely and will follow the guidelines of the CDC and local authorities in response to COVID-19.
We recommend embracing the outdoors in an active and healthy way. We want our guests to feel confident when engaging in activities with Bear Valley Rafting. As a result, we have added special care and additional consideration to our employment policies, cancellation policies, and cleaning procedures (in accordance with EPA standards) while keeping the interest of our employees’ and guests’ health and safety top of mind.
We do require a 50% deposit, with a full refund if cancelling within 48 hours of your trip. If you have to cancel within 48 hours notice your deposit will become a gift certificate for use at another time.
If any of our guests have been infected or have been in close contact with an infected individual and cannot attend the tour, we will work with them to help reschedule their tour free of charge with no penalties or fees and do whatever we can to help them out.
After every trip, we will be sanitizing our PFD’s, wetsuits, paddles, and helmets to ensure cleanliness.
After every trip, we will be wiping down all seating.
We will be sanitizing bathrooms, common surface areas, changing rooms, tablets, and work stations after each rotation of guests.
We have strict cleanliness guidelines for food handling, preparation, and cleanup which includes sanitizing all surface areas, tableware and sanitation stations for guests.
Our employees will be required to wear masks in our vehicles, working in close confinement to others, and while preparing lunches. We do require everyone to wear a mask in the transportation part of your trip, we do provide disposable masks or you can bring your own. We strive to keep our customers and employees happy and healthy. Thank you for your cooperation.
As we celebrate another season we thank you for your continued trust and advocacy in Bear Valley Rafting. And together we are prepared to navigate through any challenging circumstances with your fun and safety always our #1 priority.
Hope to see you on the river.
