Covid-19 Policy and Procedures

To our Valued Customers,

Safety is our #1 priority at Bear Valley Rafting. As a result, we are an established leader in safety standards for the Payette whitewater rafting industry. It is our goal to promote outdoor exploration and adventures in the safest way possible.

We want to update our guests on what we are doing to ensure safety throughout the development of COVID-19.
We will enhance the cleaning and disinfecting of our facilities, vehicles, equipment and food services using the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommended standards. In addition, we will be limiting our early season availability levels to keep our tours small and may even move to completely private tours for each reservation if needed. We will be supportive and accommodating of guests and employees affected by COVID-19.

We have been monitoring the situation closely and will follow the guidelines of the CDC, the World Health Organization (WHO) and local authorities in response to COVID-19.

We recommend embracing the outdoors in an active and healthy way while engaging in our small group tours. We want our guests to feel confident when engaging in activities with Bear Valley Rafting. As a result, we have added special care and additional consideration to our employment policies, cancellation policies, and cleaning procedures (in accordance with EPA standards) while keeping the interest of our employees’ and guests’ health and safety top of mind.

Office/Check-In Procedures
All Check-Ins will be outside for the time being. Less contact between our employees and customers.

Guests
If any of our guests have been infected or have been in close contact with an infected individual and cannot attend the tour, we will work with them to help reschedule their tour free of charge with no penalties or fees and do whatever we can to help them out.

Equipment
After every trip, we will be sanitizing our PFD’s, wetsuits, paddles, and helmets to ensure cleanliness.

Vehicles
After every trip, we will be wiping down all seating and power washing our buses inside surfaces.

Facilities
We will be sanitizing bathrooms, common surface areas, changing rooms, tablets, and work stations after each rotation of guests.

Food Service
We have strict cleanliness guidelines for food handling, preparation, and cleanup which includes sanitizing all surface areas, tableware and sanitation stations for guests.

Photos
We will continue to provide photography services of our trips, the only change will be all photo sales will happen online. Please visit www.bearvalleyrafting.com for viewing and purchasing options.

Masks
Our employees will be required to wear masks when meeting customers, on our vehicles/shuttles, and while preparing lunches. We do also require everyone to wear a mask for the transportation portion of your trip, which we will provide disposable masks for your use, or you may bring your own as well. We strive to keep all of our customers and employees safe and healthy. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Reservation / Cancellation Policy

No refunds will be given to no shows. We require 48 hours notice for cancellations. If you do cancel prior to this time period we will give you a full refund.
